About museum preserve

The Exhibition hall "On Pokrovskaya" is located on the site of a former stone stall of A.F. Petrov, built in 1878, was opened on March 6, 2001, and December 20, and in 2006 the hall was closed for renovation and modernization.

In May 18, 2009 there took place the solemn opening of the renovated Exhibition hall "On Pokrovskaya". A spacious room with an area of 100 sq.m. with modern exhibition equipment, lighting and alarm systems, allowing the exhibition of archival collections of Russian and foreign museums, private collections and museums in other cities. This cosy hall regularly hosts a variety of activities: meetings with interesting people, concerts of art songs, traditional festivals and master classes.
