"Walk along Moscow street "

(In the program: visit to the Museum-estate of urban life "Simbirsk of the late XIX - early XX" (Lenin street, 90) and the Museum of "Simbirsk photography" (Engels street, 1b). In the center of Ulyanovsk there is a unique wooden block of historic buildings - 16 museums, cosy manors, mysterious corners strung on the axis of the oldest Simbirsk street – Moscow st. Famous visitors of the city entered it this way, captive Pugachev was taken to Moscow along it. It is linked with all of our great countryman: N.M. Karamzin, I.I. Dmitriev, I.A. Goncharov, brothers Yazyikovy, V.I. Ulyanov-Lenin, by the name of whom the street is named today. Most of the surviving houses are associated with the lives of great and little-known simbirians. The walk along Moscow street with a visit of the Museum-estate of urban life "Simbirsk K. XIX - N. XX centuries" and the Museum "Simbirsk photography" will help to tell this story.
